The Learning To Live Series was designed for basic Bible instruction for one-on-one discipleship. It is an excellent series to use with new believers in an informal kitchen table environment. Instruct your student on how to use the Bible's table of contents. It may be helpful to break the lessons up into sections rather than having them do the entire lesson in one session. Try to teach the student to study the passage in it's context.
